Multicultural Network launch reverse mentoring sessions across the firm
These mentoring sessions were designed and run by members of our Multicultural Network, to highlight issues often faced by black and ethnic minority employees. The discussions were with senior members of the firm and revolved around pronounciation, career progression and how cultural backgrounds play a big part in how individuals approach certain tasks in the office.

Wellbeing Network arrange a nutrition and wellbeing talk
Joined by Jonny Landells from Next Step Nutrition, discussions covered an array of topics including maintaining healthy habits through lockdown, managing time for fitness with homeschooling, working from home and life stressors and more.

LGBT+ Network celebrate LGBT history month social
We had a virtual social and all attendees brought a fact they didn't know before. It was an opportunity for LGBT+ staff, partner champions and allies to get together and discuss the importance of LGBT history and all learn a little something in an informal setting.

These provide an opportunity for LGBT+ staff to build their network and have a safe space to talk.

LCP launch their 'Recognising Gender Identity Policy'
On Trans day of visibility LCP launched their new policies to support staff and people leaders in supporting those looking to recognise or change their gender identity in the workplace.

International Women's Day
Our Women's Network celebrated International Women's Day with the 'Choose To Challenge' campaign where people across the firm made pledges to tackle gender inequality on social media. The firm also raised money for The Marylebone Project and Trinity Winchester Women Services.

In the wake of the murder of Sarah Everard our Women's Network hosted a TED talk viewing on the issues of violence against women and discussed what society needs to do to combat it.

The government's Disability Confident scheme supports employers to make the most of the talents disabled people can bring to the workplace.

LGBT+ network sign up to LGBT Great's inaugural mentoring programme for the investment and savings industry

LCP sign up to the 10,000 Black Interns initiative
10,000 Black Interns seeks to offer 2,000 internships each year for five consecutive years and partners with firms across many sectors. The programme looks to transform the horizons and prospects of young black people in the UK.

Mental Health Awareness Week
Our Wellbeing Network kicked off a 3 week 'Lets talk about Mental Health' series to reflect on the challenges and successes of the past year and how the firm has responded to these.

Menopause support launched
We launched a menopause support page which includes a range of resources including details of a support group at LCP and Peppy Menopause, a confidential app offering targeted support.

Campaign to help ethnic minority communities know their pension rights
The Multicultural Network worked alongside Steve Webb to share research to help Ethnic minority communities know their pension rights, including an interview on the British Indian Tamil Radio show.

LCP host their third rainbow day raising over £3,000 for AKT
This takes the total raised for AKT over the last three years to over £8,000 helping support young LGBT+ people who find themselves homeless.

LGBT+ network celebrate pride month with a profile a day
The profiles covered the well known to the less well known to share stories of LGBT+ people from history.

Breathwork session with Nix
The Wellbeing Network hosted a session for the firm on the benefits of breathwork, including box breathing and how breathwork can calm you down and improve your mental wellbeing.

'Choose your Commute' challenge
We held a cross-firm challenge to help our people get ready to come back into the office, which encouraged people to get moving and start re-introducing the concept of a commute into their day.

LCP becomes a signatory of the new Asset Owner Diversity Working Group charter
We formed a group called the Asset Owner Diversity Working Group, and signed a new diversity charter to tackle a lack of diversity across the fund management industry.

LCP responds to the joint FCA, PRA and BoE paper on driving inclusion in the financial sector
In our response we welcomed its aims but challenged the Regulators to take action to drive meaningful change in a timely manner.

LCP ran a number of virtual insight days with SEO candidates to improve ethnic minority representation in our graduate representation.

Multicultural Network host a panel event with senior people of colour
The internal panel event had senior members of colour talk about their experiences being minorities in the industry and what needs to happen to encourage progress.

Women's Networking and Mentoring
We ran the 3rd series of networking sessions linking up senior women in the business with other women who would like to discuss various topical issues such as imposter syndrome, how to raise your profile, and more.

TEDTalk viewing and discussion forum
We facilitated a discussion forum around Mellody Hobson's TEDTalk 'Colour blind or colour brave' - about acknowledging that people's racial backgrounds affect their identities and experiences and understanding how to make the workplace and world more inclusive

LCP run educational series for Trans awareness week
This involved sharing facts, quotes and actions on trans issues and intersectionality with racism, mental health and sexism.
