DEI Quarterly Highlights
We have four fantastic networks that seek to build a diverse and inclusive work environment: LGBTQ+, Multicultural, Women's, and Wellbeing.
Our Networks facilitate a dynamic range of events and initiatives, collaborating with each other and others across the industry to promote awareness and increase engagement with DEI matters.

DEI Networks: What's coming up?
LGBTQ+ coffee mornings
The LGBTQ+ Network hosts a monthly meeting, primarily for LCPers who identify as LGBTQ+ as a safe and informal space to stay connected with the Network. If you would like to be added to the invite list, please get in touch with one of the committee members.
You may join as frequently or infrequently as you like, but please respect that this is a safe space and some of those attending may not be "out" to colleagues.
Multicultural coffee mornings
The Multicultural Network host informal catch ups as a safe space for individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds to have open discussions and meet colleagues from different departments.
Cross-Network Event 19 September
The Health Analytics team, Women’s Network and Multicultural Network will be hosting an external event: “How can we collectively address enduring inequalities?”
LGBTQ+ Network Update
We’ve changed our name!
We’ve updated our name from the LGBT+ Network to the LGBTQ+ Network. The Q stands for “Queer”, which is a word that has been on quite a journey. The original meaning of “queer” is strange or peculiar, but it was also historically used as a slur against LGBTQ+ people. Recently, the word has been reclaimed and used to cover a broad spectrum of non-hetero/cis identities as well as being deeply associated with the arts and cultural aspects of the community.

Networking Event
The Network ran another successful networking event in the London office on 1 July. Attendees got to meet and network with professionals from within LCP, and participate in break-out discussions with Partners and Principals. The topics covered included accelerating your career, imposter syndrome and overcoming challenges and setbacks.
This is part of a wider series of networking events, with the next in-person session to be held in Winchester next year. The Network is also looking at scheduling virtual sessions.

Multicultural Network Update
Celebrating Eid
In the London office, Zuhair Mohammed and Imran Hussein hosted a session on the significance of Eid al-Adha, attended by 60 LCP colleagues across our offices, followed by a quiz.

Wellbeing Network
Moving for our mental health
Sarah Mayo at Point3 Wellbeing gave a fantastic session on The Science & Art of Movement in May, for Mental Health Awareness Week. We explored how we can improve our mental wellbeing through movement, little and often, knowing a little goes a long way. Sarah covered both the theory and practice, offering great insights and ideas into how we can build natural movement into our busy (working) days.
👉 If you missed the session, you can view the recording on LCPLearn.
