This Scottish Widows tool gives you information about the retirement options you have from the Plan, including the income you could receive, and the benefits, risk and tax considerations of each.
Other helpful resources

Pension Wise (part of MoneyHelper) offers independent and impartial guidance on pensions – like your Plan pension – backed by the Government.
- If you’re aged 50 or over you can book an appointment with one of Pension Wise’s experts to help you understand your defined contribution pension savings (like your Plan pension).
- If you’re aged under 50 you can still ask a Pension Wise expert a question about your pension. Call them free on 0800 011 3797 or use their webchat.

MoneyHelper’s directory is designed to help you find a regulated and impartial financial adviser.
All advisers are:
- regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, the organisation that sets the UK’s financial rules, and
- able to recommend products from a wide range of providers, making it easier to find the right one for you.

ScamSmart (part of the Financial Conduct Authority) provides lots of up-to-date information about how pension scams work, how to avoid them and what to do if you suspect a scam.
